Hi,

we have approximately 300 reports scheduled in Crystal Enterprise V9.

Recently, a number of the reports have been duplicated at the scheduled runtime - the 'instance' of the report will run, and for some reason it will run again to create a second instance.

Has anyone come across this problem before or know how to rectify this?

Hi,
Have you restarted the services between the time the 'correct' instance ran and when the dupilcate one did?

There was a hot fix regarding a bug that caused scheduled jobs to run after a restart..

Hi,
No, we haven't restarted the system. The duplicates run immediately after the original reports, and they have been doing this for a few months. There is no gap between the originals and duplicates.

Hi,
Just to confirm:
In the 'History'tab for those scheduled reports there is only 1 'recurring' entry?

If so, I would then check with Crystal ( Business Objects) tech support.

Hi,
to confirm - we only have 1 recurring entry for each of the reports which are duplicating.
Unfortunately we haven's subscribed to technical support through business objects for version 9 of Enterprise, hence the need to use Tek-Tips.
thanks for the help so far.

Hi,
A Business Objects knowledge base search does not require a support contract..so try there:( not a great search tool, but sometimes works OK..Try looking at hot fixes and service packs for CE 9)- be sure your system is up to date on those..
