I have a report that shows duplicate information for a policy. This is what shows now:

Policy # date face amt premium insured name Jx1234 07/07/04 100,000 500 john doe
Jx1234 07/07/04 100,000 500 jane doe

But this is what I want to see:

Policy # date face amt premium insured name Jx1234 07/07/04 100,000 500 john doe
jane doe

I only need to see the duplicated info once but I need to see both insured names. This information is on the detail line. I've tried several things but it suppresses the entire line. Thanks in advance for any help. I'm using crystal 8.5

Thanks,

Right click on each field you want suppressed. Choose formatting and select "supress if duplicated"

I tried this but it only works for some of the fields. It suppressed both fields on the detail line where I need to see data for only one of them.

Try grouping on Policy #. Display the Policy #, date, face amt and premium in the group header and the insured name in the detail then go to the section expert and in the group header check underlay following sections.

Thanks so much. That worked great! I had tried this before but I didn't underlay the section, so that's why it didn't work the first time. Thanks everyone!
