I installed desktop software 3.6 on an XP machine running Outlook 2003 on Exchange Server 2003. I also installed service packs 1 and 2.

We are using the desktop redirector (temporarily) until I install BES.

All messages that are received in the user's outlook mailbox are forwarded to the handheld twice (even though the message only appears once in the Outlook inbox).

Any ideas?

Thanks

Most likely, the web client is setup to sync with the unit on top of having Outlook do the same.

Ignore that first reply. ;)

To be more precise, the Desktop Redirector may be configured to forward messages along with the Web Client doing the same.

Is that the case?

I (with the help of CDW tech support) figured it out. The redirector was running on two desktop machines that the use was logged onto.
