problem: I have two logical volumes with the same name. Not the first time this has happened. I cannot remember how to distinguish one volume from the other so that I can remove it. It is a jfslog. I'm guessing that I will first have to create another jfslog, then change the filesystems to point to that log. Then remove the duplicate log.

Instructions PLEASE

figured it out.
Kept missing the fact that I still had one filesystem mounted against the duplicate lv name. Once I woke up and unmounted that. I did a chlv -n newname oldname
vi /etc/systems and changed the logname to a made-up name.
did a lsvg -l vgname and was all set.
