Duplicate job during catalog backup??

Hi all,

Can you please clarify..

I am using a Windows scheduled task to run a batch command to perform a duplicate job.
If a catalog backup is still running when the scheduled task is meant to run, will the job fail?
I am getting an error stating "cannot find storage unit ..."

there are so many potential answers to this.

do you only have 2 tape drives?
are your storage units configured correctly?

in theory, there is no reason why the duplicate job starts, but just stays queued waitign for the backup to finish.

i take it that you have tested this when there are no backups running?
