Duplicate IP issue

Duplicate IP issue...I am trying to use NNM to monitor client networks. Since I have no say as to their IP address scheme I am running into some problems with IP address overlap. Does anyone know how to use NNM while allowing for duplicate IP's?

There is a white paper that is shipped with the product that talks about duplicate IP address. There are also lots of documents on this topic at

Since the topology database may contain old object which overlaps your new device IP, you may need to delete the object manually :

ovtopofix -r 192.168.1.2

e.g. the overlap IP is 192.168.1.2
