Hi,
I am very much a beginner at using Access so excuse me if my question sounds a little silly..
Anyway, I have a subform which has a 'RMA number' (which is like an ID number..) Initially I defined the field as an autonumber but this soon became problematic, as I need to be able to replicate the RMA number every now and then..
If it is possible, I would like the RMA number to increase by one with each new entry, so that the user wouldn't need to search through all of the records to find the highest RMA number to date...
Is there any way in which this can be done? If anyone can help please remember that I am an absolute dummy at this so make it simple!!
Thanks,
Kat
