Duplicate emails are being sent

Dear All

Duplicate emails are being sent

This is happening to 1 Dist list and within that list to External Email addresses, they are gettin 3 copies of the same message.

Checked message track on 1 email and it was been bouced about a bit

The sender get no deleiver messages to some users not all

We has installed Instant messaging and Service pack 3 for exchange 2000

Are you using Internet Mail as well as Exchange Mail? That causes a new copy to be generated of each message each time the IM client sends/rec.

No only Exchange Mail is installed

Checked the tracking message and the mails are going out and back in to the server twice

This is only happening to 2 Dist lists

The problem is they are the directors lists

I had the same problem.
Just check in regular outlook's setting the reply address.
mine worked with that.
I dont know whether thts the case.
as i had duplications.
one was frm davidr@something.com
other was davidr@domain.something.com

I'm having the same problem of duplicate emails but it only happens with 1 dist list. "bad user details with the dist list"??? could you please clarify leddy???? ther are no details in this dist list. Thanks.
