Dumb move - forgot to backup my pst file

OK, so it wasnt that smart of me - I had a lot of dll errors going on and had my desktop team blow out my old machine and reset it. In the process my pst file was lost, and I have no backup.

They say they cant go back and get my emails from the server without doing it for everybody across the company, so that is not an option.

Does anybody have any tricks up their sleeve?

I've done a scan for .pst and have nothing coming in.
Would these be hidden files?

PST files are not hidden files. If they reformatted the HD and reinstalled the OS there is no chance in recovering the data. Sorry.
