They are updating via http, but they seem to want all the languages, and its taking forever...any way that I can remove that option so that it doesnt upgrade all the languages?

Thanks In Advance, stars to come!

I think you'd have to modify the 96xxsettings.txt file and just comment out the language files they reference.

I have dreamed a dream, but now that dream has gone from me.

Change the 46xxsettings.txt and only enable one or two.
Then it will not load any other language.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

What Peter said...couldn't remember if the 96xx had it or the 46xx.

I have dreamed a dream, but now that dream has gone from me.

Relevant 46xxsettings.txt paramaters:
SET LANGSYS
SET LANG1FILE
SET LANG2FILE
SET LANG3FILE
SET LANG4FILE
SET LANGLARGEFONT

Also make sure that you actually have the correct name for any language file to be loaded. They do change from time to time and you need to keep the 46xxsettings.txt current.

So i just remove the ## in front of all the language files I dont want, within the 9608 section of the 46xxx settings file?

Can someone adjust this to show how it should look?

This will only enable the russian language.
The rest will be skipped.
So change as you like.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

So, I dont see where I can set just 1. BY default they are English, which is what I want, I just dont want it to update the others, since we wont be using them.

What is your HTTP server?
If it is the IPO what is it set too?
When there is no file server configured then the IPO will send all by default.
When you configure something else then it follow exactly what you have configured.

Im using the IP office as the HTTP server, and the system is set to english....I just dont understand why it updates all the languages....do I actually have to put my LAN 1 address as the http server, i thought leaving it at 0.0.0.0 assumed it WAS the IP office...

Leaving 0.0.0.0 is not ok.
Change it to lan1 and i think it will work better.

Well, that didnt make a difference, any other ideas?

Enable a non existing language (for the IPO) like Swahili.txt
