Hi,
I'm trying to connect my os x 10.3.9 ibook G4 to my winxp pc via a direct ethernet connection.
I gather this is possible with a one-to-one ethernet cable on my model of ibook but can't find an actual guide on connecting the two together.
How do I go about this?
I've tried just connecting the two together and connecting to the pc IP (connect to server) but to no avail.
Does anyone know how to go about this or of any good articles explaining how?
Thanks in advance,
DigiPencil.

Apple's ethernet adapter automatically detects such connections, so that shouldn't be a problem. Beyond that, you will need to either hardcode the IP address of each machine or know enough about ipconfig (on windows) to figure out what the IP addresses for the two machines are.
