DUAL PORT 8KByte RAM

Hello
I have project in which I have to create dual port 8 Kbyte ram. I created a chunck of memory by using array But it was not compact. Then I created the chunk by using if else and case statement the chunck was again bigger for the Board . One thing I do not want to use Brams provided in VirtexIIp . I need my independent memory . Is it possible How???

Did you try to find an existing core for your ram ? Should be several cores out there like on

Thankyou for information. I never used open cores. I need a independent nodule of RAM for my project. Should it be like that and how can i find the RAM module in open core platforms.

How do you mean "how can i find the RAM module" ?

How to get to the downloadable files or what ?
