Dual MAP-D Card

We are currently using the Cisco ICM for all of our call routing, and are starting to investigate setting up Dual Map-D cards for redundancy.

Does anyone know how much a Map-D card would cost, as well as what it might cost to have an Avaya Tech onsite to install it for me?

We just went thru this.

to have a map-d and CV-Lan software installed our quote was $55K from a HUGE thrid party vendor who will go un-named, but it starts with an "e" and ends in nets

I got another quote from someone else to provide the hardware and software for $35K, but we had to install it, and get it registered with avaya.

Since it was our first time it took some muttling thru, but we saved 20K over the "e" companies price, and if we do it again it will be worth it since now we know what we are in for.

FYI... out of the $55K price the "e" company wanted to charge us 8K for a project manager (it took like 1 hr to put the card in and only 1 or 2 to get avaya to register it) for 8K??? i dont think so.

A MAP-D with Definity LAN Gateway (DLG) software and a modem costs around $8K. If you need the CV/LAN software that costs about $15K more.

We just sold two in the UK for about £5k each with Lan Gateway software. Its not difficult to install. Couple of fields to enter ie IP address etc...

Thanks for your feedback, unfortunately I followed up with our Vendor and our price changed!

$30,000 CDN for the hardware
$56,000 CDN for the licenses!

If you guys were quoting in US, I guess I can take my values and divide by 2 and we are probably pretty even!
