I would think so. Just make two partitions and install one OS on each. You might have to change the boot.ini file (if XP has one but I think it does) of the OS that boots by default (probably C

Just out of curiosity why would you want to install both on one PC?
I'd think there is not enough difference between the two to be worthwhile. WinXP HE doesn't work well with domain/server-based networks but both work just fine on peer-to-peer networks. HE doesn't have the better security, group policy editor, can't work with multiple processors.

The reason is that I use Windows on one PC for many tasks thus requiring me to install lots of software. Having had all this software installed the PC begins to slow down dramatically. Until I can afford to purchase a new PC I thought it might help to run to OSes that I can designate to the tasks. I.e one for Audio/Video and the other for general work such as Office.
I have both WinXP Pro & Home but I guess I could install Pro twice as the hardware in the PC is the same. Right?

Certainly could be done that way. Each OS would have to shut down [computer re-booted] so the other could be started.
What I did [had a computer left over from a job] is get a LinkSys [$70] KVM switch [keyboard, video, mouse] and set the second computer [Win98SE] under the desk. Using 1 keyboard, 1 mouse, and 1 monitor, I can have several things going at once. Pressing the Ctrl key twice changes computers. Saw a 21" Dell monitor yesterday that had inputs on the back for 2 computers.
A bare-bones computer could certainly save a lot of money when using the KVM.
