To dual boot windows 2000 and sco you need to do the following.
Install Sco at the begining of the disk. After installing and configuring sco create boot and root disks using mkdev fd. Start install of windows 2000 on the remainder of the disk (I used NTFS I donot know if FAT32 will work). After install has finished boot of of the boot and root disks and reactivate the sco partition using fdisk. Reboot and at the sco boot prompt type in bootos ? make a note of the partition number that windows 2000 is on. Boot in to sco and edit the boot file in /etc/default add to this the following line win=bootos x where x is the partition number of windows 2000. Now reboot at the Sco prompt if you hit enter you load sco and if you type win and hit enter you should load windows 2000.

i've tried this numerous times and it simply won't work on my sys (40gig / ibm celeron 733).

any suggestions?

Which bit does not work?

It could be better descripted, like sjwilson do it.
I make it many times. What exactly i wrong with yours installation. Problem is, if you use XP "restore" disk.
MS XP is very aggresive and do not agree to install
after (together) with other OS.
It insist to use all the disk and to delete other OS.
But Win 2000 si more civilized.
