DTS when to index for Data Warehouse.

If we are dropping and creating a table. When is it best to create the index before a table is populated or after? Please advise. Thanks

It will depend on how long it takes to create the indexes, complaired to how much having the indexes there will slow down the data load along with the time to rebuild the indexes.

In most cases on huge tables the best bet will be to add the index after the data is loaded.
