DTS Package using vbscript

When a DTS Package uses activex / vbscript is it possible to add additional source and destination columns to the transform? The transform lists the source and destination fields once you have selected them, but I don't see a way to add another field later. Frequently, I would like to add source or destination fields to a transform, and if I already have code built I have to copy the code, destroy the transform, and then recreate the transform including all of the original fields plus the new ones that I want to add.
