DTS Package error: Parameter is Incorrect - Solution?

Have switched to a new computer and can not get the DTS packages to run. Receive following message:

"Error Source: Microsoft Data Transformation Services (DTS) Package.

Error Description: The parameter is incorrect."

Any thoughts on what settings need to be changed to run previously created DTS packages?

Check the Server name of your SQL Server connection, the DTS package may be trying to link to the old Server.

Is the package accessing any external files? (.xls, .bat) Ensure that these have been copied to the new machine.

Also check the location of your log files, make sure the directories exist.

Resolution lies with service pack updates. I ran the lastest service pack and it resolved the issue.
