Hi
I'm writing a DTS local package to create a number of text files from one database.

I have one SQL server connection that has many workflow connections with SQl queries to create output text files.

The trouble I'm having is when I update one the connections, it asks "do you want transformations that have been definded using this connection to be reset" if I say "Yes" it resets all the work flow output files to the last one??

Each output text file has a different connection name -

SQL version 7 running - HELP before I go nuts!!!

Have you tried to say "No"?

I think that will just leave the other transformations alone (is that what you want?)

Saying "no" would be fine, but I have gone through them to point the files to another server and they are all to pot!

The only thing I can think of is to write some vbscript to open the package and go through all the connections and change them.

Not pretty, but it will work.

If I rember correctly, they fixed that in sql 2K.
