I have an Excel speadsheet that I am trying to bring into a table via DTS. Everything in the spreadsheet comes over fine except for a amount field. It comes over like this:
The number in the excel file is a number with 4 digits (0.0174) when it's imported into the table it in looks like (1.7399999999999999E-2). Any help would be appreciated.

Is the number in the Excel file an entered value (keyed directly) or a derived value (e.g., from a formula)?

It is an number that was entered in - not a formula

Importing Excel figures is a bit hit and miss. Try applying a custom format in the spreadsheet. If you want leading zeros then you will have to pad the column in your DTS sql statement
