I am executing a simple DTS package, (simple query), and getting an "invalid pointer" err message. (Although the query has been successfully done!!!)
Does anyone know why? and what is this pointer?
I didn’t put any "use" lines.

Hi There

If you are running a stored proc, it may be returning a count and giving "invalid pointer" errors.

Type Set NoCount ON at the start of your sp to turn the record count return off.

I am not using a SP, I am using a simple query in the Transform data Task.
I tried to type it at the beginning of the query (since I do use count in my query...but it didn’t help)
:-(
thanks for your help...

:)

Problem has been solved.
Shouldn’t have used "insert into” in the Transform Data Object, and also give a specific name to each column.
