DTMF

I'm dialing into various numbers that require entering passcodes and or prompts and the DTMF is not being recognized. Is that a PBX or carrier related issue?

Type of phones? Type of trunks? Carrier?

It's 9630 IP phones using ISDN PRI. Carrier is overseas. Someone said something about changing from 'network' to PBX on the DS1 page. Never heard of such.

Can be a couple of issues. I had to change the bearer of the DS1 from 3.1 to Voice in one instance. Also are you set for rtp-payload in the system parameter options. What kind of gateway are we talking about? I would assume a Gxxx but are you connecting to a SIP gateway?

It's a G450 GW.. nothing SIP related. All I've done so far is turn on echo cancellation in the outbound direction on the DS1 form. This has been working for months/years so it makes no sense why it happens now. I thought the sync source on the GW, but that's the DS1 module. I busied/released the module and it's working so not sure what the deal is there.
