I have a customer running an IP Office 403 on Version 2.1.27 firmware. They dial a 5 digit extension back to a Medpro board off of an S8700 Media Server to reach a dictation unit. Once the call has been answered by the dictation machine, they are required to enter a code to reach the proper recording box using DTMF tones. For some reason, the IP Office is not sending the DTMF tones to the dictation unit. The problem is only occuring for those people trying to access the dictation unit through the IP Office.
The customer has no complaints about voice quality, the calls are uncompressed and working just fine.
Any ideas why the IP Office isn't sending DTMF tones over the IP trunk and is there any way we can adjust settings to allow for the DTMF tones to work? The IP trunks are on a point to point T1 1.5 MB.
