Hello all.

Has anyone had any problems with DTMF on a CICS/MICS 6.1/6.1MR with a CallPilot 100/150 installed? It seems like the Callpilot is not recognizing every other or few calls when the caller is entering his/her extension through the Automated Attendant.

This is what I have done.
1 Replaced SW/Caller ID Cards/Voicemail/System.
2 Made sure they were calling from analog phones.
3 Made sure they had Touch Tone Gate off.
4 Ran startup 2 times and reprogrammed the voicemail.
5 I bring it home and test it and it works fine NO problems.

And the customer is still insisting there is a problem. I go there and there is a problem. I am scratching my head at this one. I have not seen a "hidden code" like the startalk to change DTMF.

These lines are copper trunk and are not going through any channel bank. All the system that I have encountered with this problem has had CID on them. HelP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks sooo much.

Forgot to add. It was installed for 3 weeks with tons of calls. If you need the patch, let me know and I can email it to you or something.

Unfortunately this appears not to be the issue on my side. I check the version installed on my cp and it already has the right level. My circumstances are little different in that the problem usually occurs with analog lines calling into to the pri. Many times i get complaints of absoluty no response to dtmf tones by the AA and eventually will time out and xfr to recept.

analog to analog working
pri to pri working
pri to analog working
analog to pri sporadic.

Rusty,

I had the exact same problem today, but my lines were analog and the calling in party was also analog or PRI. All programming was correct and there was nothing I could do except to recycled power to the callpilot. It actually fixed the problem. To me if all else fails reboot. It sometimes fixes problems.

Also, your version level maybe 2.0, but the CP I had with the DTMF problem had an earlier DSP firmware. The version I had was in the CP 2.0 DSP version A4. I recall the newer version to be A6. Forgive me if there is an error.

The only way to determine if your CP has the right DSP version is to telnet into the unit and issue the correct commands. I dont have them here with me at home.

Hope the reboot helps. :)
