I am struggling with what I suspect is a major problem, and I need to figure out if it is with our different LEC’s, or with Avaya, or if its something completely different. I posted this question a slightly different way a day ago, so if this sounds familar it probably is.
I can duplicate this problem almost 100% of the time.
I have 5 sites and 5 different LEC’s
Site 1 – LSP Avaya g350/MM711 (CO Line Trunk Group) Frontier Communications
Site 2 – LSP Avaya g350/MM711 (CO Line Trunk Group) Windstream Communications
Site 3 – LSP Avaya g350/MM711 (CO Line Trunk Group) Embarq Communications
Site 4 – LSP Avaya g350/MM711 (CO Line Trunk Group) NDTC
Site 5 – LSP Avaya g350/MM711 (CO Line Trunk Group) Integra Communications
When I dial each site, and hit the vector logic to enter a 3 digit extension, (In my example I dial 460) and I press the 4 button and hold it for longer than expected (about 2 to 3 seconds) and continue to dial 6 - 0 the system sends me to 446. See trace below:
…..
…
10:43:10 hear annc board 046V9 ext 68488 cid 0x2261
10:43:15 dial 68392
10:43:15 term vector 1006 cid 0x2261
10:43:16 active announcement 68492 cid 0x2261
10:43:16 hear annc board 046V9 ext 68492 cid 0x2261
10:43:30 call-forwarding
10:43:30 ring station 446 cid 0x2261
…
…
However when I do the same test and I dial 4 - Hold the 6 for a long time – 0, I get routed to 460 every time.
I have 9 other similar locations that all have T1 PRI telephone trunks that work perfect every time. The difference seems to be the CO Trunk Groups
Is this a LEC problem, or does it sound like a problem with my phone equipment/software?
