Hi guys,
I would like to verify if someone has faced something like this, or someone could have some advice on configuration that could help.
I have a system running 6.0.1 with SP 9 (patch 19940, the latest), running on G450 (fw 31.20.1, the recommended), ds1 board mm710bp h 14 (fw 52), connected to the PSTN using ISDN, the pilot number is routed to an auto attendant (dial 4 digits for extension or 0 for attendant), but we have had some reports that calls are being routed incorrectly. After doing some tests we have found out that sometimes digits are being duplicated (for example if dialed extension 6207, it is routing to 6622, or if dialing 0 in list traces is showing 00 so call gives busy).

I have tried with 3 different fw in the ds1 board, but still having the problem.
If we test calling to the autoattendant VDN internally it works fine, is there some config related to the DTMF in the CM?
Thanks!

Question;

Is there a way to check if this is happening on Landline vs Cellular calls?

I have run into issues with cell phones getting warble in the middle of touch tones causing them to "double strike" a tone.

Cheers,

Brewmeister

Thanks for your reply, it happens with landline and cel calls.
I finished testing, I used another trunk that is using CAS and the problem is not ocurring on that trunk.
I will ask with the customer to verify with the service provider.

Thats a good call. It almost has to be a Carrier issue in that case as long as the two are programmed the same.

Cheers,

Brewmeister

Actually the one that is having the problem is a ISDN trunk to carrier 1
the one that I tested is a trunk set up as CAS trunk to carrier 2

there are no problems with the voice, the only problem is the dtmf issue but I dont know any configuration in the CM related to the DTMF detection tones
