hi
I'm working with avaya ipoffice 500 4.2, gsm gateway from hypermedia hg-212 (bri),voicemail pro 4.2 and Nokia e51 with one-x mobile.

When i try to make a call from my nokia, the pbx don´t detect correctly the dtmf sent by the one-x(through gateway gsm), and when i try to access to auto-attendant of ip office (through gateway gsm) it doesn't detect the dtmf correctly.

does anyone have a solution for this problem?

i already tried to replace the gsm gateway for another developer but is the same.

sorry for my english

thanks
ipedro

Have you tried using a landline/another mobile instead of the nokia to test where the fault lies?

yes

using the landline i don´t have problems. but it´s very $$$$
i try the nokia e60 and the htc touch and i had the same problem

So a landline calling into the system through the gateway works, that would indicate it's the application/handsets not sending the DTMF correctly :)

I don´t no where the problem is, but some times it detect's the dtmf instead of the correct number like 967184562 its detect 999777111184556222 (ex.)

How is the gateway connected?

NT or TE, p-p or p-mp?

The best setup is to use NT/p-p.

If calling through the gateway with a landline works ok but not with the application/mobile it isn't the gateway you need to be looking at :)

You can rule out the IP Office the BRI card and the gateway as they are all working OK from whast you have said. So that only leaves the mobile devices/application at fault, and there is not a great deal we can help you with on those :)

Are you using a Card Carrier with an old BRI4/8 card from a IP400?

all products are new, they have 3 mouths.

the system have this hardware configuration:

IP 500
PHONE2/ATM4
VCM32/BRI8

When it fails, are you generally getting duplicate digits? Is there a speakerphone involved somewhere that may be a culprit?

through one-x most of times it duplicates digits but some times it loses some digits.
through voicemail pro it loses digits

What happens when you dial the DDI number which is pointed to the FNE00?
You should get dialtone and then be able to dial any extension/external number.
I think if you're problem is that you cannot point the gateway to a FNE00 shortcode. This because your gateway will not pass the external mobile number to the AVAYA.

i think that the problem is in the gateway gsm.

when i dial fne 00 i get the dialtone and in system status i see the connection, but i also see that the number i insert in mobile is not correct. problems with dtmf reception.

one avaya partner told me that he is working with gateways from its-telecom and topex and don´t have problems, i will try with that one.

the problem was in the gateway. when i changed hypermedia to ITS i eliminated all my problems.

thanks for the info
