We have an IP-line from Vienna to Moscow. For 46xx phone DTMF does not. With analogue phones does the DTMF. Anybody know the problem? SW 4.1.9 - IPO500

We had a IPO412 previously in use. With 3.2.59 SW, then upgrade to 4.0.5. This was the DTMF election ok. We have the phones after the exchange of course heavily. We then tried the phones with other software versions. About a choice from outside ISDN, DTMF to Moscow is also ok.
i meand the software on the phone itself
with 4.0.5 it should have 2_3
With 4.0. and higher it will get 2_8xxx with tftp uploads
Did you upgrade the phones also ?

Oke and did you try with the 2_3 software on the phones ?
Also do you have direct media path on or off on your ipline ?

Have you a method of testing 1 ip phonw with a power brick ang getting the same results?

I don't need the config 
Make sure the direct media path is unchecked
Try the 2_3 files on the 46xx phones
If it all does not work then downgrade untill you know what the problem is

What codec do the IP phones have?
If they have G729 or G723 you to mark the option "out of band DTMF"
Goto; Extension > select extension > Voip Tab > mark out of band DTMF.
