I have a known good DTerm(16D)which won't turn on the speaker. The phone is driven from a NEC2000IVS2. Swapped phones with known good handsets, checked the wiring all the way back to the wiring closet, no speaker. Checked known good handset right at the Wiring closet, no speaker. I deleted the phone from LEN 220 and re-built it, still no speaker. Moved the phone from LEN220 to a known good working LEN 116, still no speaker. All other functions of the phone work. All 250 other phones at my site work well as speakerphones. The settings as displayed through Matworx11>Station>Station assignment for this number look like all the other phones. This error is going to drive me normal. Any ideas what else I could check?

owlguy,

So is the speaker button working? In other words, when you press the speaker button, do you hear sound coming out of the speaker? If so, then the MIC is probably disabled. Simply press [Feature]+1 to toggle the Microphone on while the phone is idle.

If you do this while the phone is not idle, it's considered a Mute and will revert back when the phone is idle.

I did a quick check in the manual to see if this was a service feature that could be disabled or not. Couldn't find any. It doesn't appear you can just turn the speakerphone feature off.

No, the speaker button does not work. The speaker button does work when the handset is plugged in to a working LEN.
Working handsets do not have a functioning speaker when plugged in to this LEN.

Check CMD 9000 for that extension key 94. Compare it to a working extension and if it's set differently just correct it. S0 cmd 9000 de ext,94 de to look.
