Dterm not working. 2

Hi,

One of the managers in the office decided to change her analogue phone with a dterm seriesi. She insisted on having her old extension so this is what I've done.
I deleted the extension number and finding an unused digital LEN keyed in the extension using cmd 14.

Now when I connected the dterm the readout just shows initializing... There's no dial tone whatsoever.I have tested the dterm on another digital line and it is working perfectly.

Is there anything I missed? And yes, we use ips2000 with dterm seriesi and dtr analogue phones. I am able to use MATworx. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

There a script that can be run in using MATworx that does all the programming for you, if you drop in your email I will send it to you

Did you place the letter "F" in front of the extension number? "F" = multiline.
EX:
14>00000>F2000> EXE
If you didn't, then you have to delete it before reassigning it.
EX:
14>00000>2000> CCC EXE
14>00000>F2000> EXE

That will basically get you the time and date displayed on the phone! to make it useable, you need to assign the extn number to a line key using Cmd 90 and assign a prime line using Cmd 93 at the very least to get any functionality. There are many more commands to consider too such as 1201 for restriction 1212 & 1213 for CLID to name but a few!

Take the offer of the script even if you only use it as a road map!
