DT730 Line/Name display (SV8500)

On the DT730, is there a way to display the extension instead of the Name on the line keys (and still keep ANDD data)?

You can type in the extension number in place of the name in ANDD, or turn off the names feature in ASYD. That would be system wide.

There may be something new added to later software levels. Can you post your system software version?

ASYDL SYS 1 INDEX 682 BIT 4 = The Name Information to be used in priority for displaying
Line Information.
0=System Phone Book (APBKN command)
1=Name Display (ANDD command)
Note: Available since FP85-110 S7.
This may help if you are using the system phone book feature. It's something that would need to be set up and tested, but it refers to names only and not extension number. It's new for S7.

On second thought, I don't think 682 will help. I do not think names and numbers can be separated the way you want.

Interesting feature. Agreed, looks like it might be the same issue as using ANDD.
