Does anyone knows any issue about it in MX-ONE TSW sp6? I can subscribe DT570 to the same ELU31/1 but I can't if DT690. But using BP250 switch... both cordless phone works(can be subscribed). I am using the same base station bs330. Do I need to use ELU31/3 in MX-one? Your input is highly appreciated.

ELU31/1 should be OK for MD110 TSW SP6.
You need ELU31/3 for the MX-ONE.
I would upgrade MD110 to TSW SP7, as many corrections have been made, but it requires a new dump.

doktor,

The main problem is we can't subscribe the DT690 cordless phone to
MD110 TSW sp6 using ELU31/1 but for DT570 it is okay. My main concern is that we have customer running MD110 TSW sp6 with cordless system. They are using ELU31/1 and planning to buy DT690 but if this unit can't be subscribed then we will have big problem. Our ELU31/1 firmware is the latest released R12A.

Anyone pls on this problem! I urgently need the reason for the problem so we can advise client .

Hi,
according the HW list of MX-ONE, DT690 is supported from TSW SP6.
I'm not 100% sure if these phones will work with ELU31/1.

maybe etompau will know this...

according to FW PRI list the firmware on the phone should be
2.8.19. please check if you have the same firmware.
Chances are that these phones are delivered with 3.0.5, in that case you must have SP7.

Cheers,
Daddy

Remember once that we had a case with subscription problems with DT590, the problem was related to no external synchronization of the switch, which then caused the time base of the LSU board to run with a stability too low for the dect air interface and then casing subscription problems.

whosrdaddy,

Thank you very much for the information. The DT690 has 3.0.5 firmware so probably I have to upgrade the switch to sp7. I will try it in our lab & let you know if the problem is solve. If not, I will try other option like downgrading the firmware to 2.8.19 as
mentioned by doctor if SW downgrade is support for DT690.

Thank you guys, I will post the results for your information.

I would downgrade the DT690 from 3.0.5 to 2.8.19 since it works with BC12 SP11. If it fails, then upgrade the MD110 to TSW SP7.

whosrdaddy,

We tried mx-one tsw sp7 but the DT690 still can't subscribe. The DT690 firmware is 3.0.5 . The option to downgrade the software of DT690 to 2.8.18 is not posible at this time as we don't have the PDM/CPDM unit yet. Any other solution pls!

then you have another problem.
do you have alarms on the DECT side?
check post your ALLOP; and CXCFP:FPI=ALL;

whosrdaddy,

Everything is alright there is no alarm. I can subscribe the DT570
as before but not the DT690. Since it not working with elu31/1 I will try to get ELU31/3.

rokane

I discovered the problem, it was software fault in standard tsw sp6 or & sp7. When I downgraded the reference switch to tsw sp4 the DT690 & DT570 can now both be subscribed.

To all who responded to my post, thank you so much and more power to each and everyone in tek-tips !

rokane

did you get it working in SP7?

No, it was not working too...the same scenario as with sp6 may be there were comfiling error on both service packs.

rokane

I would like to know if it works in TSW SP7, as we are going to upgrade a very big MD110 from SP5 to SP7.

///doktor

As I said the DT690 is not working on tsw sp6 & sp7, it may be a compiling error from previous sw released to tsw sp6 & sp7. We are using Application Standard here in our area.

rokane

I would like to correct the info that I had given about the problem. The problem is not related to compiling error from previous release to tsw sp6 or sp7. I think it has something to do with some data being inputted to the pabx. If we program only dect phone extensions(cx command) the DT690 can be subscribed with no problem in both sp6 & sp7. But if we input all our office data created from pcregen the problem happen...so we are now sorting it out which data is causing the problem. I post when I found the problem.

rokane

Thanks for the update rokane.
I'm curious what is causing your problem...
