ll DECT (Only DT 422) stpped functioning. Tried restart of related PUs even at last RFEXI with12 LIM system BC11/SP11 but no solution. Anybody with an idea Pls.

Hi !

Last saturday afternoon all Dt 422 suddenly stopped working we didn't load anything and no changes were made. we are using DT 368 and 570 they are working fine. Recently we recieved new DECT 422 and those also worked for almost three months.

The FW on the ELU31 board seems to be a BC10 version.
Correct article code should be CAA 158 0010, R9A.

I also tried it on BC12/SP3 test LIM it does not register. What do you suggest ?

How many DT422 stopped working and was it on the same time?
If we only are talking about one or two units, it might be a hardware fault in the portables, but if you have 10 or more units that ceased ot work at the same time, well, then it’s a diffrent matter.

I has similar problem last week
I change FW on ELU 31 board from R8A to R9A and all DT 590 and 422 can not registry in system or login and logoff many time
DT 368 , 570 and 290 worked correct
I return to FW R8A and send a report to my locale E/// service

It's highly unlikely that there should be a specific problem with ELF31/R9A and the DT4x2/DT590, considering that the R9A version has been used for almost one year now.

Hi ! All
I mentioned all DT422, they are about 20.R9 is in use almost a year and we did not have a problem. Also we don't use a SIM card and Licensing is not a problem. we are using BS 330 & 340.

Your fault description is too vague and unclear! Before some more advices can be given you must try to describe the problem in a better way.

1.Did all the 20 DT422 cease to work at the same time?
2.Do you get any information in the display of the phone like “No System or “No accesses”?
3.Have you checked the RSSI indication in the phones? What values can you see?
4.Why are you using the BC10 firmware on the ELU31 boards when you have a BC11 system?
5.Have you tried to delete and subscribe the phones again?
6.Is the old subscription still present in the phones?
7.Are you using the phones in the same LIM as they were subscribed in?
8.What happens during the subscription process – can you see some activity on the base station LEDs?

Etompau Hi ! Following are the answers to your querries.

1- Yes all Dt422 stopped working same time no incoming no outgoing. Although once you call it gives a calling tone and then not reachable. And if try to make a call it says calling and drops susequently.
2- No, but when i tried to delete the subscription and initiate it again it does not register says subscription failed. Even i tried to subscribe a new DECT but it didn't register. then I tried to register it with a test LIM BC12/ SP3 it did not register. When it did not register it says no system.
3- how do I check RSSI ?
4- We did not have any problem with that. What firmware should be with BC 11.
5- Once i subscribe it again it does not register.
6- Only with those which are no deleted rather erased.
7- Yes.
8- No activity on BS 340. And subscription fails.
I will do some test tomorrow and keep you updated.

We have shifted all rpn to one LIM considering it a synchronization problem. After that it is intermittant, sometimes it register but most of the time registration fails. Also I can make calls but once in five times. RSSI is fluctuating between -50 & -90 there appears a small c, according to Alex it is sync bus error. I modified the sync cable, since we are not using ring, Tx and Rx are looped. We never had an original sync cable. I don't have any alarm for sync,the only modification I did to short ckt ring Tx and Rx. Can you give me config for sync cable. Still we can not use DT422. I also tried DT422 on our Test LIM BC12/sp3 which is also under testing stage, it failed.

one question, does your md110 has external synchronisation??

give a printout of

as weird as it may sound, the ELU31 depends on LSU sync clock. this clock on its turn should be synced by external line( ISDN) clock...
