We are having issues with the time change from the weekend. We did have the patches install when they changed the date a couple of years ago and it has been working since. Our Vendor is saying that it is a global issue, but I wanted to see if anyone else had heard of this. If it's not 'fixed' by tonight I will be chaning my time zone, but can't impact that may devices during the day.

Just spoke to my vendor on another issue. According to them Cisco released news of a new bug due to the DST change.
Afftecting version 6.1.2 where the CM shows correct time but phones do not. dont know how much is true or if other versions are affected.

Thanx bigcheifdan - According to our rep is is Issue CSCsy25150 and it does effect other releases. We are on 5.1.X

Glad I could help. I have one office that was migrated from an old system and is using old equipment. I have created a new Date and Time group for GMT -4. I have pointed their device pool to use this new DT Group. Once I reset their phones, it should show the correct time until it changes again.
Dont know if that will help you on 5.1 or not.
Thanks

That's exactly what I'm going to do tonight, but have to wait 'til after business hours.

Same issue here, but only affecting 7940 and 7960 models.

Cisos responce:
This is a new bug that was introduced with the DST Time Changes implemented in 2007. Below is the BUG ID and related information from Cisco Systems. At this point in time the best option is to wait until next weekend to resolve the issue. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns in this matter. A manual workaround does exist. However, it may cause issues with Generation 3 Devices (79X1 series phones)

Hope this helps.

I was having the same trouble, and was advised from our Vendor to try that following:

1) Change the current time zone (EST presumably) to a different timezone. Reset the time zone (causes all registered phones to reset, which will happen fairly quickly)
2) Change that same timezone back to EST. Reset the time zone, causing the registered phones to reset again, but apparently with the correct time.

This worked like a charm for us, but we are a small UCM shop currently.
