I have a S8300 stand alone, CM3.0.1. I installed the DST patch no issues there. Yesterday I logged into the server and made sure that the time updated. It did. This morning the IP phones are 1 hour off. But the time on the server and in ASA are correct. Stumped???

We have a 8710 (G3xV13 Software Version: R013x.00.1.346.0)

Our maintenance provider applied the patch and all seemed well when I checked remotely. I came in today and the time on the 8710 is correct but all 1300 of our phones are an hour behind. Waiting to hear from them before I start tinkering.

Go to System Parameters features Around page 10 or so and look for System Updates Time On Station Displays? Stroke to y and give the system some time to process. It may take a few hours for all the display to update. For a quick way press the time/day button.

Hope this helps

1a2 to ip I seen it all

Thanks 1a22ip. Did that. The strange thing is that I have multiple servers. Both were set to NO, but one updated the phones, the other didn't.

Interesting. We have CM2.2 and we have the same exact issue. Server time updated correctly, phones did not. System Updates Time on Station Display is set to Y so I'm stumped.

Time to call Avaya and I am sure the waiting time will be atrocious.

change locations and making sure it had the same ruleset as my DST worked for me. (Check "DST ok at set time, but not on phones" thread)

Just went through this with an 8700 R2.2. Had to check the locations page to see which rule was in use (this one set to 0). Under 'set time' I turned off DST (set to Standard) and used rule 0. Went to the server under Server Congifuration, and turned off NTP, then set the time of the server. Phones began updating at this point.
