DSS/BLF Problem

Every time the power goes out, The main reception phone and 2 DSS come back up no problem but the Backup Receptionist has the following problem. Lines 13-16 move off of her M7324 to the first 4 keys on her first DSS. I have to do a line move and then re-program all of the DSS keys when this happens. I think I've checked everything so if you can help me from becoming bald (pulling my hair out!) please reply before the power goes out again!

Is the second CAP set for the second set in programming?

Yes, I seem to remember some sort of thing where you hold 2 buttons down and apply the power... Any help?

That's not what he meant - in programming go to Cap Assignment and make sure the backup extension is assigned.

That's all done. I even removed both CAP Positions from programming and started fresh. Still happens. I was referring to "initializing" the CAP.

Switch M7324s. Test. If problem follows phone repair/replace, if problem stays then its a port problem. Update us please.
