I am putting 2 DSS 4450's on a 4424LD+ and they both work but on the second one when you press a button it dials the extension but the light doesn't come on for any extension. If I swap the 2 DSS mods it works fine in the first position still but not the 2nd one so I know both of them work. I can also press intercom *00 and all of the lights on both modules light. Is there something I'm missing? Has anybody ever gotten 2 of them to work properly?

That's probably making the 2nd DSS not light up.

Number the pages in multiples of 100. The 1st page should Be your lowest range, i.e., if your lowest extension is 100-something, page 1 should be 100. then page 2 would be 200, page 3 - 300.

No it still isn't lighting the extensions on the 2nd module.

Jay, the book calls for an additional power supply for the second DSS. I would suggest another 1151-A. Not exactly sure how to wire it, the book fails on that. Give me a call tomorrow or today if you are reading this the day after yesterday.

From the Installation/Maintainence manual, page 3-2 (page 86 of the pdf):

The 4424D+ telephone can be a Direct-Line Console and can have one or two DSS4450s
attached to it.

The 4424LD+ telephone has a seven-line display with eleven softkeys and 24 line buttons. Each
line button has an associated pair of LEDs. Because of the larger display, you must use the
external power supply that comes with the 4424LD+ telephone.

You can use the 4424LD+ telephone as a Direct-Line Console (DLC) or as a Queued Call Console
(QCC). You can also use the 4424LD+ telephone as the system programming console. This
telephone's functionality is almost identical to the MLX-20L telephone.

The 4424LD+ telephone can have one or two DSS4450s attached to it.

NOTE: The power supply provided with the 4424LD+ telephone provides enough power to
handle the DSS4450s as well.

So, I'm not seeing a need for a 2nd power supply, or even a way to connect it.
