Hi am hoping some can help me better under syand how DSP resources are allocated.

Scenario

s8710 Has 4 medpro's all in network region 1

3 G700's each in there unique network region

My question is once the voip resources are fully ulilized at from the mm760. Is a resource then obtain from the s8710 ?

And should Medpro's always be in network region 1?

Thanks in advance

no to medpros - network region relationship. medpros (depends on which board you have) is consider DSP channels for IP-TDM-IP conversion. the questions should be:

how many concurrent IP-TDM calls am i anticipating?
how many network-regions do i have?

as for the G700's if they are configured as LSP's then is can be configured that way using the ip-network-region form & ip-network-map form. refer to the 'network region configuration guide' from support.avaya.com
