Hey All,
We are looking to move our current Avaya CM system from one virtual media server and 11 media gateways 8 being g450 1 g350 and 2 g430 to SIP that we already have up and running for our main head offices. So current dsp resource provided from these gateways is 729.
I actually think this is total over kill we are looking to move all our site's about 14 that have gateway's to go via our main SIP lines in our data centres via there MPLS links thus removing the need for sites to have ISDN. And removing the media gateways from sites providing a large saving in hardware support cost's
My real question here is. Is there an easy way to view DSP resource usage say over the last week and or month. This is so we can lower the licensing cost needed to move all these dsp resources to the media server.
I have used the command list measurment ip DSP-resource summary yesterday peak assuming this gives me accurate usage for one day worth of dsp usage? Am i then looking at the equivalent rsrc peak line for dsp resource used?
I have included a snip of this command ran on a normal day for use maybe someone can advice on that one day also.
Thanks Callum
