Soes anyone know a basic calculation for figuring out how many DSP's are necessary on a gateway?

Please share if you do.

Thanks.

Thank you for the link. I actually tried to use the DSP Calculator and I found it a bit confusion, I am setting up a 3825 router with two dual port vwics and one wic for an MPLS connection. I am also using a four port fxo card.

We have about 340 people we will be moving to voip and I want to make sure we don't run into any issues when people are using the conferencing feature or making calls between offices over our dedicated MPLS links.

Do you know of any more basic calculation?

Thanks.

No sorry. that's the one I use and find it quite easy after you become familiar with it.
If you want to ensure your DSP resources are adequate that is the calculator to use.
