I've got an alarm on a 3300.
DSP Status Minor (although system says major alarm) Total=6 Unavailable = 33%.
Show Status DSP =
Slot Number 6 Dsp 0 State: ACTIVE
Slot Number 6 Dsp 1 State: ACTIVE
Slot Number 6 Dsp 2 State: ACTIVE
Slot Number 6 Dsp 3 State: ACTIVE
Using a Dual Framer so no DSP chip on that.
Hardware modules =
6
21, 1
2
Echo Cancellation 128 Channels
7
84, 6
1
4 SHARC 21262 DSP
Compression Licenses = 16
Fax Over IP T.38 Licenses = 0
Output from DumpDspBootInfo =
Shell restarted
-> DumpDspBootInfo
DumpDspBootInfo
Dsp(0,0): mmcSlot=7 (1-based) Load Type: TELEPHONY(1,"/sysro/DspConfig/TELEPHONY.262")
Mod Type: NOCONFERENCE(1)
Dsp(0,1): mmcSlot=7 (1-based) Load Type: TELEPHONY(1,"/sysro/DspConfig/TELEPHONY.262")
Mod Type: NOCONFERENCE(1)
Dsp(0,2): mmcSlot=7 (1-based) Load Type: TELEPHONY(1,"/sysro/DspConfig/TELEPHONY.262")
Mod Type: NOCONFERENCE(1)
Dsp(0,3): mmcSlot=7 (1-based) Load Type: TELEPHONY(1,"/sysro/DspConfig/TELEPHONY.262")
Mod Type: DEFAULT(0)
value = 25 = 0x19
Not sure why when I stat the DSP I see slot 6 DSP Active for 4 channels but from the DumpDspBootInfo command I see slot 7.
Could it be that there just aren't enough DSP resources for the amount of compression licenses or is there a DSP hardware issue where 2 of 6 channels are down, hence the alarm?
Not sure what other troubleshooting commands or steps there are so any help/guidance would be much appreciated.
Cheers - Mark.
