dsnless connections?

Can anyone plz confirm that we cannot have dsnless connections (using connectstring in cfquery) in cfmx and higher?

Also, in cfmx and higher does anyone know how to use a ole db provider? (instead of the drivers)

confirmed, you can not use dsnless.

try other, or odbc socket. (mx standard)
