Here's a handy little java applet that will test the speed of your adsl connection.
Requires j2re but there is a link on the page where you can download it from.

Very handy, i've been meaning to go on one of these to test it for a while to see if my isp has put me up to 2mb but after that test i'm pretty sure they havn't.
