DSL and screen pops.

I have a Windows 2000 machine that is online thru DSL all the time. The problem is that when I come in a take a look at it I have a whole bunch of Internet Screen pops al over the screen. How can I keep this from happening. I down loaded a blocker but it does not work all the time. I dont have this problem with any Windows 98SE machines or ME machines only the Windows 2000 machine.

You've been spam by advertiser. They broadcast net send command to all public IP. My suggestion is to invest on a router that has NAT capable. it's very cheap now a days.

If you don't need the Messenger service, disable it. No more popups.
