Anyone know where I can get information on the dsherr command? It is currently running from cron everyday at 3AM on my control workstation and I'm not sure what it does and I can't find any information on it. The control workstation is currently running on AIX 4.3.3.11.

Thanks

My guess is it's a script by one of your predecessors. Based on dsh (Distributed SHell - parallel remote shell feature on a control workstation) to gather error reports on all your nodes?

It's in your CWS crontab - so you should know where it's at. Look through it with "more" or "view".

Yes, that was dumb. I thought it was an executable at first. So I searched all over the internet looking for the command and got frustrated when I couldn't find anything. Never even thought someone would put a script in the crontab without putting a comment above it saying what it did so I thought it was just a command that was put there automatically by the OS.

Thanks,
