So I ran into an installation that had 4 DS30 modules.
We filled 3 of the 4 modules to max digital phones. When I did a reboot, the modules that were filled to max got stuck in a boot loop and wouldn't come back up. After removing certain phones on the system, the lights finally came back up and after a regular boot, it finally synced back up.
The problem with these modules is the power supply that it came in. IT IS GROUNDED not earth power supplies. The company that made these faulty power supplies is FSP GROUP INC. If you got these with your DS30 and plan on maxing out the module, then please test this before sending it out to your clients. Luckily I had old POWER SOLVE power supplies lying around and tested it. POWER SOLVE works, the systems all synced back and lights are back on.
Please make sure that if you have those FSP GROUP INC power supplies, test it before sending it out, and if it doesn't work then get a POWER SOLVE power supply. Good luck!
