RESOLVED.........Customer complained system goes down several times a day, power cycling clears issue. Clarified issue was only outside calls. Found PRI DS1 sync'd to Tone Board, not getting clock from Verizon Router (Found here that Verizon considers Clock optional.) Verizon had to send a tech out to work on their router. I am able to force sync to the DS1 board now, but if I have sync switching enabled, it reverts back to Tone Board immediately. "List meas ds1 sum 01a14" shows no errors. This is only T1 in the system, no others.
Any help appreciated.

when you say system goes down you mean the t1 circuit right?

Clock issue id corrected thanks to the users in this fine forum. DS1 had CSU set to other instead of integrated. There is a 120 csu installed on back of Definity. Changed CSU type yo integrated and clock issue is fixed. CP is a TN464F.
Next issue is system shows a 2305 error against the DS1 card. Translates to a yellow alarm. Internal loopback (on the board) tests good. I'm thinking there may be an issue with the CSU. I'd like to do away with the CSU as Verizon has a router for the PRI in a data rack next to the PBX. How would I wire the T1/PRI directly to the Definity.

If I was you I would keep the integrated csu, most likely this is not your issue. Google the error code and it will bring up the avaya maint manual for alarms errors....

replace primary and secondary clock source DS1s
TN464GP TN464HP and g3v9.1 or higher is required for echo cancellation

joe2938, I have done that....translates to a yellow alarm.
AvayaTier3, are you of the opinion that the circuit is too hot? Is that why I should upgrade?

ISSUE RESOLVED: Went looking for echo cancelation option because I remember turning it off earlier in the week. Enabled Slip and PRI is staying up.
Original issue was with T1 going down twice a day and I suspected that Verizon not sending clock was issue. They replaced their router and issue became a thousand times worse. Seems to be working now.
THANKS guys!

pink because you took the time to let us know the root cause
