Hello all, I have 3 questions. If you can help with any that would be great.

1. Does anyone know if it is ok to set slip detection to "yes" on the DS1 form without causing any interruption in the system? I want to make the change now instead of after hours.

2. Is it ok to change the primary and secondary synchronization board numbers during normal business hours without causing any noticeable interruption to the system?

Also on the form "list measurements ds1 log (board) it is showing all counters at zero. Is this possibly because slip detection is not enabled? (I know it is possible there are no errors, but we think we are having a timing problem that is causing some echo due to slipping on our SIP Trunk calls.)

Thanks

You can change the Slip Detection to Y without any interuption, as far as changing the primary & secondary Sync Clock, I would do that after hours cause it can cause a momentary lossof syncronization. And yes you will see zero's on the list measurement until you enable the Slip Detection.
