Hello,

I have a problem with a second hand install that I am doing. It is a definity Si V7. I cannot get a DS1 card to give me a loopback so i can't get it to work on the lines that have been installed. I have set up the DS1, Sig and trunk but the loopback light will not come on when i attach the connector. I know that the loopback cable works because it works on the BT incoming lines. When I take the loopback off the trunk the green light on the front of the card flickers. I have tried 3 different cards and in 2 different cabs. This should be simple, has anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

Paul

Since this is second hand, you might want to look at the DS1 vintage and the Integrated CSU. There have been a few "issues" related to the TN464HP and the 120A CSU. I've had to do a "mix and match" before.

Hi, I am using an amphenal cable to connect to the back of the definity and taking my pairs out (violet oranges/violet greens). I have tried 2 different vinatages of cards: 464 and 2464.

Is it possable that I am using a too new of processor in an older cabinate? Would this cause issues like this?

yes thats all done, i built an R9 csi today and used the same pairs and same programming to create the loopback and it came in fine... Shame I cant get it going onsite
