Hi , I have a DS! that emulates Q931 and connects on to a cisco router, all works well incoming and outgoing, but is there anyway I can insert a 9 for outgoing instead of the cisco router having to do it
? TIA

Sure. Just put it into the routing plan for calls going through that router for long distance.

Carpe dialem! (Seize the line!)

Hi, It is actually the router that is making the calls, it is a kind of mock 2 meg link between many sites as a backup if the dedicated data circuit goes down. It uses the routing plan that extensions use, i cant seem to figure out a way of giving it its own route.

set a second route up to the router trunk # in the standard route pattern.
Insert a 9 where needed.
I.E
route pattern 1
Trunk grp 1 FRL etc first choice
Trunk grp # (router trunk) FRL etc insert 9 secondchoice.

Speak softly and carry a big switch
